Adult's Social Care

Paris Adult Social Care is deployed across a wide range of Social Service and Care Trust organisations both in the UK and Canada. More than a case management tool, Paris provides the practitioner with a powerful set of applications easily tailored by their local service to support best practice, current legislation and emerging government agendas such as the Adult Common Assessment Framework.

Paris was initially developed in Northern Ireland where Health and Social Care services have traditionally been fully integrated. Consequently Paris has evolved to enable multidisciplinary teams to work effectively together, managing client consent, securely sharing information within the team, across services and between organisations.

Functionality includes:

  • Single Assessment Process in England

  • Single Shared Assessment in Scotland

  • Welsh Unified Assessment

  • Latest government information requirements such as RAP.

Paris provides practitioners with the tools they need to quickly process new referrals, manage their caseloads and plan their work. At the same time managers and other staff can access their Activity Dashboards to assist with the allocation and balancing of caseloads across the team while being alerted to issues and risks as and when they arise.

Paris is ideally suited to support the Health and Social Care modernisation agendas set out in the 'Our Health, Our Care, Our Say' white paper and the Adult Care Transformation agenda. Paris supports direct payments, financial assessments and is leading the way in developing applications to deliver self directed care putting the client in control of their assessments, plans and budgets.

Social Care Personal Demographics Service Early Adopters (SCPEA) Project

SCPEA is a programme being run by NHS Connecting for Health (CfH) and the Department of Health as a pilot project to link Social Care systems to the NHS Personal Demographics Service (PDS). As an early adopter Paris will be one of the first systems to implement such a link.

Additionally Paris provides the organisation with the business intelligence necessary to plan, deliver and improve services to the benefit of clients and their carers.
