Mental Health

in4tek have practical experience of implementing its Mental Health solution in the UK and Canada. Although the care of service users in Mental Health is underpinned by common principles, the experience has been that the models of care delivery in each organisation can vary widely.

As 90% of Mental Health service users receive their care outside of hospital, it is important that different organisational models across Community and Inpatient services can be configured to meet the specific needs of each Mental Health customer in terms of referral intake models, care delivery process and transition from Community to Inpatient and vice versa. Hence the Paris solution reflects a Community-initiated service model supported by robust Inpatients administration and Mental Health legislation functionality to ensure that full, holistic care planning and care delivery is supported across Health and Social Care.

Benefits include:

  • Organisational efficiencies through streamlined processes and standardisation
  • Reduced risk to clients and patients through accurate identification and simple presentation of both their history and the people involved with them
  • Reduced risk to staff through service user alerts and the complete holistic view of the case to inform the best course of action
  • Seamless transition between Community and Inpatients
  • Supporting legislation through a full and comprehensive Mental Health Act module
